As a Direct Primary Care practice, we only accept a few hundred patients at a time. Traditional family practice docs routinely see over 2000 patients! We have fewer patients so we can provide top-of-the-line care to each and every patient. Here are some of the things you'll have access to as a member.
We offer high-quality care to kids, adults, and geriatric patients. This includes chronic disease management (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc), mental health, urgent care, sports medicine, medical weight loss, and annual physicals.
Need a visit? We can usually get you a next-day appointment, for no extra charge.
Appointments are typically 30 minutes, but can go as long as 90. Whatever it takes to get you taken care of. Good healthcare takes time.
For example, minor injections, EKG, ear wax removal, etc... are all included in your membership fee. The only fee you will be charged is whatever the pathologist charges us to evaluate the biopsy results (and by the way, they charge us a deeply discounted rate!). If there is an extra charge for a service, you will know exactly what it is before proceeding. There are special labs and procedures that may require an additional fee. Our members receive a discounted price for these special labs and procedures.
If you require a consultant for specialty medical care, we will work closely with that specialist.
We dispense medications in-house, so we're offering medications to you at wholesale prices. For nearly all medications, the price we offer is cheaper than your co-pay at a pharmacy. If you take chronic medications, the savings on medication might be greater than your entire membership fee.

We've negotiated great deals with national labs to get your tests done on the cheap. You'll be able to get your annual bloodwork done for less than $40. Check out an example of our real time lab prices under the "pricing" page. This is quite possibly one of the greatest benefits of our practice and one we are proud to offer to our members.
You'll be blown away by the prices we've negotiated for radiology services. We're talking as low as $55 for x-ray, $125 for ultrasound, $125 for cardiac stress test, $250 for CT scan, and $400 for an MRI. Multiply these numbers by 3x to 10x in the insurance world.

At HealthZen Direct Primary Care we’re always striving to enhance the healthcare experience for our patients, and we’re excited to expand our range of services to include ear piercing.
Our trained staff members provide a safe and comfortable experience for our patients and offer a variety of quality stainless steel and 14K gold styles to choose from.
Ear Piercing takes about 5 minutes and a take-home care kit with instructions is provided.
$100 includes piercing, earrings, take-home kit with instructions
* An additional $20 fee applies for 14K gold and white gold styles.
*Minimum age of 4 months.
*Children under the age of 18 years old must have a parent present.
NO CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES
HealthZen Direct Primary Care does not prescribe controlled substances for long-term use. You will need to see another physician, preferably a specialist in pain medicine or psychiatry, to receive controlled substances. We do not carry pain medications or controlled substances in our clinic.
